Argentine outlet TyC Sports has today some ‘breaking news’ regarding the future of Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo.

What they say is that Boca Juniors’ personal offer for the player is now official, thus making it a ‘formal offer’, as they’re handing him a three-year contract with the club.

It’s claimed that Rojo will now take his time to answer and also sort his situation with the Red Devils, since his contract only expires in the summer.

Boca Juniors are focused on making the defender their first signing of the year, and that means they expect a fast response from him.

TyC Sports says the main subject is really his recision with Manchester United now. The local press had already claimed that Boca Juniors don’t want to spend on a transfer, and if they don’t get him for free now, they’d wait for the end of his deal.

The outlet also points out that Estudiantes are in the race for Rojo, but Boca Juniors seem to be moving faster.
