Leeds United left-back Stuart Dallas has been deployed in various other positions this season by Marcelo Bielsa.
Reports from England have stated the Whites have identified Real Madrid youngster Miguel Gutiérrez as a target, to provide competition to Dallas next season.
It was explained Bielsa’s side have a plan to take the young left-back on a loan deal, with a view to make his stay permanent.
Claims made in the English press has reached Spain and Mundo Deportivo provide the La Liga club’s stance on the 19-year-old.
It’s claimed the Spanish club count on the teenager for the future and expect him to take Marcelo’s place in the first team squad, once the Brazilian leaves the club.
Real Madrid have a firm interest in David Alaba, who can operate as a left-back, centre-back or a defensive midfielder.
If Zinedine Zidane’s side end up signing the Austria international on a free transfer, they could allow Gutiérrez to join the Premier League side on a loan deal.
Mundo’s report is also echoed by AS, and they add Los Blancos view the Spain U19 international as ‘one of the most important future elements’.
However, if Alaba arrives on a free transfer in the next market, Real Madrid will ‘not see with bad eyes’ Gutiérrez joining Leeds United on a loan deal to experience regular playing time.
