Following recent links between Marseille and Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha, we get to see the French media responding to that today.

It’s outlet La Provence, local to Marseille, who feature a story speaking of the Ligue1 side’s plans for the summer window.

After detailing several moves Marseille are about to make, it’s claimed that ‘despite insisting rumours’, the French club are not keen on the Crystal Palace star.

The report claims there ‘was never any question’ of signing Zaha, even though the possibility of landing him has been put on the club’s ‘desk’ on several occasions.

La Provence says Marseille are ‘not at all interested’ in the 30-year-old despite the chance of landing him as a free agent this summer.

The club’s current focus is on the stay of striker Alexis Sanchez, whose contract also expires this summer, despite the option for an extension.

With seven goals and three assists in 28 appearances for Crystal Palace this season, Zaha continues to have an unclear future, with recent rumours linking him to several Premier League sides, including Chelsea and Arsenal.
