With Mikel Arteta now in at Arsenal, his attention will be on improving performances and implementing his ideas as soon as possible.
The January transfer window just around the corner, though, so his focus will soon have to turn to transfer dealings and shaping the squad in his image.
There are likely to be as many incomings as there are outgoings and one of the first players he may have to decide about is Sead Kolašinac.
The left-back is among the more favoured players at Arsenal, particularly after his CCTV heroics, but it seems he’s popular elsewhere too.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Roma are interested in the left-back, while Napoli are also keen on the defender.
In a piece covering Roma’s hunt for improvement at the back, including their hopes about Chris Smalling, the Arsenal defender is described as a ‘new interest’ for the Italian side.
Napoli also ‘seem’ to like the 26-year-old, suggesting that Arsenal could be about to face interest from two fronts in their man.
There is no mention of either club making a move, or the sort of bid they’d be making, just that the interest is there.
Indeed, Gazzetta are dubious about a move to Roma because of Alexander Kolarov, who is the current first choice at left-back.
He’s about to sign a new one-year deal, with an option for another year, and that would put him right in the way of Kolašinac should he head to the Eternal city.
