Earlier on Friday, Estadio Deportivo reported Leeds United would not be reluctant to allow Marco Roca and Junior Firpo leave on loan after their relegation from the Premier League.

This was mentioned when explaining the possibility of the duo ending up at Real Betis in the summer.

AS have come out with a fresh report on the La Liga side’s interest in the Leeds midfielder, who arrived at Elland Road last year.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side are working to strengthen a few areas in the market and one of them is in the middle of the pitch, where the 26-year-old has been identified as a target. It’s claimed they are ‘negotiating’ with Leeds for the Spain international.

Los Verdiblancos’ financial difficulties won’t allow them to that big of an effort. Therefore, AS say they are ‘trying to convince’ the Whites to let go of the player on a loan deal.

The former Espanyol man’s future, at the moment, is up in the air. The report states he’s open to returning to La Liga, where Betis are willing to take him on loan. The latter have had Roca on their agenda for a long time.

AS also add Roca isn’t the only midfielder target for Betis. If they fail to agree a deal with Leeds, they could move to another player.
