Last month, the Italian media explained Lazio have joined Tottenham Hotspur in chasing Kim Min-Jae from Chinese side Beijing Sinobo Guoan.

The Serie A club maintain an interest in the centre-back, and La Lazio Siamo Noi provides the latest development.

It’s claimed the Chinese side have accepted Claudio Lotito’s proposal of €13m plus €2m in bonuses for the South Korean. Lazio even held a meeting online with the defender’s entourage a few days ago.

La Lazio Siamo Noi, however, warns to ‘watch out’ for Spurs, who could still enter the race for acquiring Kim Min-Jae’s services.

These claims have backed up by Il Messaggero, who also provide additional details of Lazio’s proposal and Tottenham’s possible threat.

Two days ago, Lazio held a meeting with the defender’s representative, in which they managed to overcome an obstacle regarding agent fees.

The newspaper states: ‘A month ago they did not move back a millimetre on the €3.5m commissions, but it seems they have revised their views and the operation could close shortly’.

Lazio must always keep an eye on the north London club because it’s claimed Spurs star Son Heung-min is ‘putting pressure’ on José Mourinho to sign his compatriot.

Kim Min-Jae prefers a move to Rome, and if Tottenham don’t act fast, Lazio will have a clear run to secure his signature.
