Henrikh Mkhitaryan rumours continue to pop up in the Italian media, even after the Armenian was brought back in from the cold by Jose Mourinho.

Manchester United’s manager has clearly been unhappy with the player over the past month or so and it’s inevitably led to talk of a move during the January window.

One of the clubs being linked with a swoop is Inter Milan, with all kinds of different plans being put forward by the Italian media, including complicated swap deals for permanent transfers and loans.

Tuttosport say that in order for Mkhitaryan to move to Inter, Manchester United ‘must accept’ the terms as Inter put them forward. That means a loan with an obligation for the Italian club to make the move permanent during the summer window.

That’s a plan designed to help Inter’s financial situation, and make the move financially possible.

Despite the complicated nature of a move, there’s still some confidence in Italy that it could happen during the winter window.
