Bursa based newspaper Olay claim Bursaspor have finally decided on signing Henri Saivet from Newcastle United.

The Turkish newspaper report that after failing to land Marcio Mossoro and Cristobal Jorquera, Bursaspor have decided to sign Saivet.

This summer the Senegal international has been constantly linked with a move to Bursaspor and Olay report the Turkish club are ready to announce his arrival.

Saivet was expected to be on the stands to watch Bursaspor’s opening game against Fenerbahce yesterday and Olay say his move should be made official soon.

The player remained at Newcastle United after Thursday’s transfer deadline but it seems he’s set to leave the club. Saivet looks surplus to requirements at Newcastle as he’s not in the plans of Rafa Benitez.

There were recent reports the midfielder has agreed personal terms with the Turkish Super Lig club and that the Magpies have approved the move.
