Monday saw claims around a Crysencio Summerville transfer rise, with interest in the Leeds United player said to be coming from England and further afield.

Three Italian newspapers cover AS Roma interest in their Tuesday editions, and it’s clear the Leeds attacker is becoming a serious option for the Serie A side.

Gazzetta dello Sport say Roma have moved for Summerville ‘in the last few hours’ as they start to grow a little tired of their pursuit of Matias Soule.

The 21-year-old Argentine is owned by Juventus who are trying to push his price as high as €35m, which feels somewhat over a reasonable level.

Summerville is being seen as an alternative, and Gazzetta say he’s an option that Roma are exploring right now.

Corriere della Sera report AS Roma have now made contact with Leeds United to ask about signing Summerville. It’s stated the Championship club want more than €20m for the player. Corriere dello Sport also back up the interest.

€20m for the 22-year-old Leeds United attacker would look a better deal than €35m for the Juventus player who was on loan at Frosinone last summer.
