Fotospor claim AS Monaco are interested in Crystal Palace striker Alexander Sörloth and that they’ve made a ‘shock’ offer to Trabzonspor, who he’s currently on loan with.
The Turkish club loaned Sörloth from the south London side last summer and he’s been in excellent form since his arrival, scoring 21 goals in all competitions in this campaign.
Trabzonspor have the option to make the move permanent for €6m but Fotospor claim Monaco have offered €15m to Trabzonspor to sign the Crystal Palace owned player at the end of his loan spell.
However, Trabzonspor aren’t keen to let the player leave as his loan contract has just under 18 months to run.
The Trabzonspor board think Sörloth could be worth even more if he plays in the Champions League next season, and they are currently discussing his future with his agent.
It’s also stated Trabzonspor will put a €48m release clause into his contract when they sign him on a permanent deal.
The 24 year old is contracted at Selhurst Park until June 2022.
