According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray have made it their ‘priority’ to re-sign Everton winger Henry Onyekuru.
The 21 year old is currently on loan with the Super Lig club where he’s impressed for most of the season.
Aksam have reported on the latest developments with regards to Onyekuru, with Galatasaray already planning for next season. The Istanbul club are also looking to bring in Fulham attacker Ryan Babel on a free transfer.
It’s explained the club are keen to keep the youngster beyond this campaign and are ready to sit down with Everton to discuss another season long loan deal.
However, it’s reported their pursuit of Onyekuru will depend on whether he’s granted a work permit to play in England. If he again fails then Everton will consider loaning him out for another season, with Galatasaray being an option.
The Turkish side’s manager Faith Terim is keen to keep the attacker at the club after Onyekuru scored 15 goals since his arrival in Istanbul last summer.
