Saïd Benrahma has been linked with multiple clubs in the run up to the January transfer window.
The West Ham player has a contract lasting until June 2026 so is not approaching the end of his deal with the Hammers. Despite that, it seems clear an intermediary has been making attempts to drum up interest from elsewhere.
Foot Mercato report West Ham have opened the door to an exit in the winter market, but they’re yet to agree a fee with any interested clubs.
The same source reports Ligue 1 strugglers Lyon are very keen on Benrahma and would like to take him to France before the end of the month.
They’re so keen that they’ve already taken transfer steps and have presented an offer to the player. West Ham want around €23m, according to the report, and it’s stated there’s also interest from Fulham and West Ham.
Benrahma is considering the proposal, but Lyon haven’t made any kind of offer to the Hammers yet, and obviously haven’t agreed a deal.
