Hurriyet report Galatasaray will try to convince Everton with regards to keeping Henry Onyekuru beyond this season.

The youngster has spent this campaign on loan with the Super Lig club.

According to the Turkish newspaper, Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim has been impressed with Onyekuru’s recent performances and wants the 21 year old to remain in Istanbul.

Hurriyet Galatasaray will make a loan offer with Everton to extend the Nigerian’s stay, at the end of their season. Onyekuru would reportedly like to continue his career with the Turkish club if both clubs can reach an agreement.

Gala will meet Akhisarspor in the Turkish Cup final on Wednesday night and they have a title-deciding game against Basaksehir next Sunday. If they triumph in both games, they will complete a domestic double this season.

The 21-year old has been key in this pursuit of silverware, scoring 15 goals for Galatasaray so far this season.

Onyekuru is under contract at Everton until June 2022.
