Fanatik claim Galatasaray are interested in bringing in Arsenal central defender Shkodran Mustafi, but the English club have rejected the Turkish club’s offer.

The Turkish newspaper report Galatasaray tabled a loan offer with Arsenal for Mustafi, but the Premier League side have rejected this as they would only consider selling him permanently.

It’s reported that Arsenal have made it clear they are not going to lease the player because they are looking to get €25m from the sale of the defender.

According to Fanatik, Arsenal have stated there are offers for Mustafi from other clubs, but if nothing materialises from this interest, then they are ready to talk with Galatasaray over a loan move.

With the signings Arsenal have made this summer, Galatasaray would hope the German international is surplus to requirements at the Emirates and therefore likely to leave this summer.

Mustafi joined Arsenal from Valencia in 2016 and is under contract with the London club until June 2021.
