According to Yeni Safak, Fenerbahce have made a lucrative offer to convince Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic over a move to Istanbul.

The Serbian international has been linked with a move to Real Betis in recent days but Yeni Safak claims Fenerbahce have offered a €2.5m loan fee to Fulham to get Mitrovic for a season.

However, it’s claimed the Championship side are looking to add a redemption clause to his contract which is making things difficult for the Yellow Canaries.

Fenerbahce have also reportedly offered ‘something close to €5m’ to the player, including bonuses, and are hoping this will help them land the 24 year old.

This summer the Super Lig club are looking to bring in an experienced No.9 after the recent departures of Roberto Soldado and Islam Slimani.

Mitrovic was one of the better players at Craven Cottage during Fulham’s relegation season, scoring 11 goals in the Premier League.

He is under contract with the club until June 2023.
