Torino are ‘working to bring’ West Ham United’s Nikola Vlašić back to the club, according to Toro.it.
The Serie A side have decided against making the 25-year-old’s loan stay permanent via the clause they had, with an intention to start a new negotiation with the Hammers at a lower price.
In the ‘last few hours’, there’s been ‘encouraging progress’ in the negotiations between West Ham and the Turin club.
The attacking midfielder isn’t willing to continue with David Moyes’ side and is keen to return to Torino.
It’s claimed he and his entourage are ‘pushing hard’ to return to Italy and new meetings are scheduled this week to try to define the deal.
With the Croatia international repeatedly pushing Torino to buy him, Toro.it state his return to the Serie A side ‘seems little closer’. If the deal goes through, Ivan Jurić will be able to rely upon his compatriot next season.
Over at TuttoMercatoWeb, they also state Torino’s goal is to buy the West Ham player with a ‘lower offer’. The figures aren’t mentioned but TMW add ‘there is great confidence’ the Italian club can close this deal.
