Greek newspaper Sportime report Olympiacos have already approached Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny, over a possible transfer this summer.
The player is currently on loan with Besiktas, but there is uncertainty whether he will remain with the Turkish side beyond this season.
As covered by Sdna, it’s reported the Greek club are keen to sign the 27 year old, who could leave Besiktas at the end of the season due to issues with the club’s board over unpaid wages.
It’s claimed Olympiacos are ‘certain’ that Mady Camara, who has been linked with moves to a number of clubs including Sheffield United, will leave the club, and they want Elneny to replace him.
The Greek giants have already contacted Elneny’s entourage over a potential move, and Arsenal are reportedly looking for a solution this summer.
Elneny has made 30 appearances for Besiktas in all competitions this season, and his contract with Arsenal will expire at the end of June 2022.
