With few chances to play for Fulham this season, Carlos Vinicius was loaned to Galatasaray.

In his short spell in Turkey, the striker had two goals and one assist in 14 appearances, and once again has an uncertain future at Craven Cottage.

Now it seems that a return to Brazil may be an option for him. According to UOL, Grêmio have made an approach to sign Carlos Vinícius from Fulham.

It’s said there’s been an initial contact with the player’s entourage to get more information on a potential deal, and no bids were placed so far.

UOL writes that Carlos Vinícius is willing to return to Brazil, as long as the proposal is seen as ‘positive’ for all those involved.

The story doesn’t say what would be the conditions demanded by Fulham to let the striker leave in the summer. He still has a contract with the club running until 2025, and is valued by Transfermarkt at €4m.

It would be no surprise if Grêmio try a loan deal, and perhaps that could result in a contract renewal with the Whites.
