Negotiations between AC Milan and Chelsea are continuing over a deal for Christian Pulisic, and an agreement could be striker ‘in the next few hours’.

That’s according to TuttoMercatoWeb, who say Milan have now made a third bid for the American and are pushing to secure his signature.

They report that Milan had initially offered €20m for Pulisic after failing with €14m, which was seemingly rejected by Chelsea as they’ve made a new and improved bid for the player.

According to their information Milan’s offer is now €22m, which is a fixed fee of €18m plus €4m in bonuses. The nature of those bonuses or how achievable they might be for Pulisic and Milan isn’t mentioned at this point.

Either way, they’re pushing to get the Chelsea man and the two clubs are believed to be ‘getting closer’ to reaching an agreement on a transfer.

The belief, at least for TMW, is that the deal could be struck ‘in the next few hours’ and the proverbial ‘white smoke’ that Italy loves so much sent into the sky to allow Pulisic to become the latest high-profile exit from Stamford Bridge.
