Besiktas want to bolster their attacking line for the upcoming season and are targeting Sunderland’s Jeremain Lens.

Besiktas, also known as the Black Eagles, will participate in the season’s Champions League, and are therefore looking to improve their squad.

Sporx in Turkey report that Besiktas want Lens to replace West Ham new boy Gokhan Töre.

The Turkish champions are short of wingers after Gokhan Tore sealed a loan move to West Ham, which has a good chance of becoming permanent, and their coach Senol Gunes thinks Lens will be a good addition to his squad.

After a mixed debut season in the Premier League, it remains unclear whether Lens wants to move or not, and it’s unknown what his stance on a move to Turkey would be.

The 28 year old Dutch international joined the Black Cats for a fee believed to be around €11.4 M from Dinamo Kiev. Lens made 20 Premier League appearances for Sunderland and scored 3 goals.
