In the summer window, Tottenham Hotspur spent €15m to sign Alejo Veliz from Argentine side Rosario Central.
Few South American youngsters have the luck of getting plenty of playing time in their first season in the Premier League, and that’s continued with the 20-year-old, with ten minutes on the pitch for Spurs so far.
That’s the big reason why, according to Corriere Dello Sport, Bologna are interested in signing him from Tottenham.
The outlet has a story explaining that the Serie A side want a new striker, and most names on the list are players who had already been chased by them in the summer window, and that includes Veliz.
So Tottenham may have won the race back then, but since they’re not using him, he shows up as a target who could, maybe, be signed on a loan deal.
Veliz has made three appearances for Spurs so far, all of them as a late sub in matches won by the London side.
Maybe Bologna could come up as an interesting plan for him to get more minutes in the second part of the season.
