Thursday sees the end of the Turkish transfer window and therefore clubs in the Super Lig are searching for some high profile last minute additions.
That often involves them looking towards the Premier League for loan deals and this year is no different.
Fanatik report Galatasaray have ‘stepped on the gas’ and identified two big names to sign before the window closes. One of those is James Rodriguez, who’s been telling anyone who’ll listen that he’s keen to leave Qatar club Al-Rayyan, and the other is Wolves’ attacker Adama Traore.
For the Turkish media, Traore gets an extra status related boost because he was on loan at Barcelona last season. The plan would be to take him on loan from Wolves, keeping the costs down as much as possible.
The 26-year-old has a contract with Wolves until next summer so it doesn’t seem beneficial for the Premier League club to loan him out until the end of that deal, unless there was a reasonable fee involved.
He’s made four league appearances for Bruno Lage’s side so far this season, although they’ve mainly been late substitute roles.
