Sabah report Besiktas are keeping tabs on Aston Villa’s Croatian goalkeeper Lovre Kalinic ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Turkish side parted ways with Loris Karius in April after the Liverpool loanee terminated his contract over unpaid wages.
This summer it’s likely the Black Eagles will be in the market for a goalkeeper and Sabah report 30 year old Kalinic is one of their targets, along with Stanislav Kritsyuk, and PSV’s Jeroen Zoet.
Kalinic spent this season on loan at French Ligue 1 side Toulouse and his future at Villa Park remains uncertain at the moment.
The former Hajduk Split goalkeeper joined Aston Villa in 2019 from Belgian side Genk for €6m, but failed to cement a first-team place in Dean Smith’s side. After joining Toulouse in the winter transfer window, he made four appearances before the French League came down to a premature halt.
Kalinic’s contract at Villa will expire at the end of June 2023.
