After being linked with Napoli’s Ivan Strinic and Juventus’s Kwadwo Asamoah, Galatasaray have turned their attention to Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs, claim Fanatik.

Fanatik report Galatasaray officials have held meetings with the Arsenal player’s father to discuss a move to Istanbul.

Fanatik report Galatasaray officials have met with middleman Erkan Sogut and after the initial talks, Gibbs’ father has been invited to Istanbul for further talks.

The Turkish giants are willing to offer Arsenal €4m for Gibbs, and if both sides agree on a deal, Fanatik say Gibbs will fly to Istanbul this week to seal his Galatasaray move.

Gibbs’ future at Arsenal is in doubt following the arrival of Sead Kolasinac on a free transfer from Schalke.

With just one year left on his Arsenal contract, considering a move seems fitting for Gibbs, but he may not be so keen about a move to Turkey.
