Fanatik report Fenerbahce are looking to beat West Ham United in the race to sign Inter Milan forward Gabigol.

In recent days the 22 year old has been linked with move to West Ham in the Italian media.

However, according to Fanatik, Fenerbahce are looking to get ahead of West Ham, with claims the Istanbul club are hoping to make a loan offer with a right of redemption for the youngster.

It’s claimed Flamengo and West Ham are two options for Gabigol but Fenerbahce are hoping to convince him with the help of the club’s former Brazilian players.

Fenerbahce have a rich history with Brazilians after the likes of Alex de Souza, Roberto Carlos, Andre Santos and Giuliano played for the Yellow Canaries. Subsequently the Turkish club are reportedly ready to present these examples to Gabigol.

Since arriving in Europe he’s yet to make his mark, but after his loan spell Santos the attacker has got his career back on track.
