Fotomac report Trabzonspor value Caleb Ekuban at around €10m and the Turkish club will open negotiations at this transfer fee once they use the redemption clause to sign him permanently from Leeds United.
The Leeds United loanee has been in impressive form for the Turkish club since joining on a loan deal from the Championship side last summer, and Trabzonspor’s board have made it clear they want to use €1m redemption clause to sign him outright at the end of the season.
According to Fotomac, Trabzonspor officials have had some enquiries from other clubs with regards to signing Ekuban and it’s claimed they could stand to make ten times what they’ll pay Leeds United.
Ekuban has now established himself in the Ghana national team after recently scoring his first goals for his country, and a good Africa Cup of Nations this summer could result in an immediate transfer away from the Turkish side.
The 24 year old has scored seven goals for Trabzonspor this season and is under contract at Leeds until June 2021.
