Torino are expected to be busy in this transfer window as they look to replace Pontus Jansson and Nikola Maksimović. Jansson joined Leeds United in the summer on loan whilst Maksimović headed to Napoli.

Calciomercato report Torino are looking to life without the two central defenders and will compensate for their departures. The first bit of business the Serie A side are expected to do is make Luca Rossettini a permanent fixture at the club.

The central defender signed from Bologna on loan in the summer and now Torino are prepared to pay €2m to make him their player outright.  Torino are also hoping to retain the services of AS Roma defender Leandro Castan after he too joined the Italian club on loan in the last window.

Jansson is expected to make this move to Leeds United permanent after recently triggering the twenty-game clause in his contract. Leeds United have already agreed a £3.4m transfer fee with Torino for his services and now only his personal terms need agreeing on.

Jansson has become a key figure in Garry Monk’s squad and the Elland Road faithful will be hoping this will be sorted soon. Torino will then have their money, and can buy their long term replacement.
