Despite being involved in rumours about a potential exit from Tottenham Hotspur, Bryan Gil not only made it to the club’s pre-season tour, but was also a starter in their game against Team K-League today.
His presence in the match is a reason for the Spanish media, who have been reporting Real Sociedad’s interest in signing him, to write a few words about his situation at the London side.
Mundo Deportivo praises Gil’s performance for Spurs, pointing out he caused ‘certain impression’ on the right wing and has been showing good physical shape in Tottenham’s pre-season.
So since he’s involved in Spurs’ preparations, the outlet points out that in case Real Sociedad do move for the signing, they ‘will probably have to wait until the final weeks’ of the transfer window.
It’s claimed that if the move happens, that will be on a loan deal, just like he did when moving to Valencia in January.
Mundo Deportivo recall Real Sociedad asked about the Tottenham player back then, and even though they didn’t manage to land him then, he remains being a target for them this summer.
