As Manchester City and Manchester United continue to be linked to the Juventus right-back João Cancelo, Turin newspaper Tuttosport encourages the transfer today.
The outlet brings a story saying it’s very likely that the Old Lady are accepting to sell the player in case the recent rumours are true.
With claims saying that the Manchester clubs would be willing to pay €60m or €70m for the Portuguese international, a ‘no thanks’ would be an impossible response for Juventus.
The Italian side need to sell before buying, so they would have no problems accepting a deal early in the transfer window.
Whether Manchester United or Manchester City would really offer €60-70m is surely the bigger question.
Another reason why Juventus would be happy to sell Cancelo for that price is that he hasn’t been very consistent in the second part of the season.
It’s claimed that the transfer ‘isn’t sure, but more and more likely’.
Meanwhile, Juventus would have two Manchester based players in the list to replace him. They would be City’s Danilo and United’s Darmian.
So maybe the clubs could get a discount when going for Cancelo.
