The Italian media comes up with interesting claims today, as they report interest from Napoli in a Tottenham Hotspur player.

Journalist Niccolò Ceccarini has been interviewed by Radio Kiss Kiss, and revealed that the Partenopei wish to sign Kieran Trippier in the summer, something which was first claimed last week.

Ceccarini claims that it wouldn’t be an easy task to sign such a player, but it’s an idea which has been in the club’s mind lately.

“Trippier is really liked by Napoli but I don’t think Tottenham would let him go so easily, it’s a solution that Napoli are considering,” Niccolò Ceccarini has told Radio Kiss Kiss (via Tutto Napoli).

“He is a player who’s liked, but from here to say that Napoli will sign him seems exaggerated, this however means that they want to reinforce the team with international level profiles.”

With no information about how much Spurs are demanding or how much Napoli would be able to pay, it’s hard to imagine how things stand at the moment.

This is not the first time a Tottenham right-back is linked to a Serie A move this month. A couple of weeks ago, newspaper Corriere Dello Sport claimed that Inter Milan could go after Serge Aurier as well.
