Everton’s Oumar Niasse has been linked with Trabzonspor again as Fanatik reports the club known in Turkey as ‘Karadeniz Fırtınası’ are currently ahead of their rivals Galatasaray to land him.
Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta reportedly discussed the January transfer window with club legend Ozkan Sumer, and the former player’s advice to the Trabzonspor president is to get Everton’s Niasse.
The Turkish club are looking to sign 6-7 players at the January window, clearly wanting to make big mid season changes, and Everton’s Niasse currently is topping the list alongside former Manchester United winger Zoran Tosic.
Niasse has little chance of an Everton future under Ronald Koeman and an exit would suit everyone involved, but the details of a switch may prove a stumbling point.
The 26-year old made the breakthrough in Turkey with Akhisar Belediyespor and earned a move to Lokomotiv Moscow. Then he was signed for Everton by Roberto Martinez but he’s clearly not in the favour of current manager Koeman.
