According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray are interested in signing West Ham United central defender Angelo Ogbonna.

The Turkish club are in the market for a defender for next season, with Marcao and Christian Luyindama linked with moves away from Galatasaray ahead of the transfer window.

It’s claimed by Posta that Gala will knock on West Ham’s door with a loan offer for Ogbonna, and they also want to have a redemption clause for the Italian, so they can sign him permanently should he impress.

Gala manager Fatih Terim is said to be a big fan of the player, and is impressed with his aerial ability.

Posta report that along with Ogbonna, Gala are following Monterrey defender Cesar Montes, and that these two players are currently topping Terim’s list.

The 32 year old has made 25 appearances for West Ham in all competitions this season, scoring two goals. His contract with the London club will expire at the end of June 2022.
