Four days ago, Tuttosport reported Juventus have identified Emerson Palmieri as a transfer ‘solution’ and it was also explained Chelsea are demanding €30m for the defender.

The Serie A winners have Alex Sandro as the only recognised left-back in the squad and Fabio Paratici is planning to strengthen that position in January.

Calciomercato claims the Old Lady have returned to ‘knock on the Chelsea door’ for the Brazil-born Italy international and they are of the belief the Blues would ‘open the exit door more easily’ after their transfer ban was lifted.

Emerson arrived at Stamford Bridge from AS Roma in 2018 and prior to joining the Europa League winners, the Turin club were keen on acquiring his services. They also made an attempt to sign him at the start of this year.

Maurizio Sarri, who coached the fullback when he was at Chelsea, would welcome him with open arms at Juventus.

The report also adds the Italian champions’ idea is to sign Emerson on a loan deal with an obligation to buy so that they can balance the books.

However, Calciomercato doesn’t specify figures that Juventus are willing to offer Chelsea for Emerson.
