The contracts of several Manchester United players are expiring next summer, and that’s obviously a reason for other clubs to start having a look at the situation.

Italian newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport has today a story about several players who could soon become free agents, and since Juventus have been managing to get good deals in these cases, they are said to be monitoring several of them.

Regarding Manchester United, there are three specific players named: David De Gea, Eric Bailly and Nemanja Matic.

The Serbian midfielder is the one who gets a special mention in the subheadline. He’s said to be hard to get, even harder than Tottenham Hotspur’s star Christian Eriksen.

The text later says that that De Gea, Bailly and Matic “at first sight, they are almost all unreachable, but the moves and counter-moves have just started”.

Some reports from the English press have said that David De Gea is close on agreeing a new contract with the club, but we wonder if the Red Devils will make a big effort to keep Bailly and Matic at Old Trafford, especially with the Serbian barely used by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the first few games of the new season.
