Fiorentina are the latest Serie A club to be linked with West Ham United forward Simone Zaza. The 25-year-old has struggled to make an impact since joining the Premier League side in the summer, and talks will take place in the coming hours to discuss his future at the club.
Calciomercato have revealed this morning that Fiorentina are giving consideration yo bringing in Zaza when the transfer window opens in the New Year. The Viola are keen to strengthen their attacking options in January especially with the possibility Khouma Babacar could leave the club.
The West Ham forward has already been linked with fellow Serie A clubs AC Milan and Napoli in recent weeks, but those interested will have to wait and see what comes about after the meeting between Slaven Bilic and the player’s agent.
Yesterday we covered reports Bilic was set to hold talks with Zaza’s father (also his agent) with regards to the future of player at West Ham. The Italy international just needs to play four more games for his move to the Hammers to be made permanent, and this is likely to be discussed.
If Zaza becomes a West Ham owned player this will make it less complicated for the three Serie A sides to get a deal done as it takes Juventus out of the equation. However, the player has said in the past few days he wants to prove his worth at West Ham.
