Fotospor claim Trabzonspor manager Erusn Yansal wants to sign Stoke City’s Charlie Adam this summer.
Yanal is considering his summer targets and his main objective is to sign an experienced midfielder to ease the pressure on the club’s wonderkid Yusuf Yazıcı.
The former Scottish international was receiving interest from Fenerbahce earlier this year, but it now seems Trabzonspor are leading the chase. The Turkish side are keen to bring a big name this summer, and they’ve already been linked with Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini.
Fotospor report the Stoke City player has yet to extend his stay with the Premier League side, and Trabzonspor could look to take advantage of the situation. Adam has been at Stoke City for five seasons, but his time at the club could be coming to an end this summer, with other clubs also showing an interest.
The 31-year old could be an inspired signing for Trabzonspor as his passing ability and set pieces would benefit the Turkish side next season. Adam played 30 games for Stoke City last season, scoring 2 goals.
