Takvim report Fenerbahce are looking to bring in Turkish players during the January transfer window and Halil Ibrahim Dervisoglu is on their agenda.

The young forward agreed to sign for Brentford from Sparta Rotterdam in the summer, but will only join up with the west London club in January. However, Takvim claim he could join Fenerbahce on a loan deal without even kicking a ball for the Bees.

Fenerbahce were interested in Dervisoglu before Brentford agreed a deal for him, and Takvim report the Istanbul club have reignited their interest in the 19 year old.

A loan move could be on the agenda for the Turkish U21 international and it’s reported the Super Lig club’s sporting director Damien Comolli is following the player’s performances very closely.

This season Dervisoglu has made 13 appearances for Sparta Rotterdam, scoring four goals and providing three assists.

The youngster has made two appearances for the Turkey U21 national side since making his debut last year.
