This Monday, a couple of Italian outlets claimed Juventus have joined the race for Barcelona winger Malcom.
Tutto Mercato Web is one of these sources, as they bring a story today saying that the Old Lady have met Leonardo Cornacini, one of the agents from Elenko Sports who take care of the Brazilian’s career.
And for those who are wondering why would Juventus sign another player for the position, Tutto Mercato Web already comes with a quick answer: Malcom could replace Douglas Costa.
The website recalls that Manchester United are interested in the former Bayern Munich player, and now Juve have been ‘facing’ this request from the Red Devils.
So in case Costa moves to Manchester United, Juve are already lining up the arrival of Malcom as a possible replacement. They would switch one Brazilian for the other, although the two of them are clearly in different stages of their careers.
This is likely pushing Old Trafford interest more than it should be, therefore allowing the Italian media to have a reason to hype up Juventus interest in Malcom.
