Pushed to one side by Scott Parker, Jean-Michaƫl Seri was in desperate need of a transfer in January.
The Ivory Coast international never managed to live up to his large transfer fee when he was purchased from OGC Nice, and a loan to Galatasaray was arranged last season.
That ended up going rather well, and they were interested once again in January, but itās a return to France that Seri prioritised, swapping Fulham for Girondins de Bordeaux on loan.
The midfielder decided some time back in Ligue 1, a championship heād already mastered in the past, might be more beneficial, but there remains some doubts over which Seri they are getting.
So be careful, we’ll see if it’s the Jean MichaĆ«l Seri from Nice, or the one from Fulham a little out of shape. But on paper, the club was inspired to get it doneā.
The 29-year-old has only made two small appearances since his move, as heās still trying to get back into the swing of things.
Either way, it seems that, as a whole, the move has been well received, butĀ only time will tell if it becomes a successful one.
