There are more reports in the Turkish media that Trabzonspor’s board will sign Leeds United forward Caleb Ekuban in the coming days.
Ekuban is currently on loan with the Super Lig club, where he’s impressed in recent months.
Following reports earlier in the week, Takvim today claim the Leeds United loanee will be signing for Trabzonspor on a permanent deal.
Ekuban’s €1m redemption clause will expire at the end of May and Takvim say the Turkish club are ready to use this.
It’s reported the Ghanaian striker has impressed everyone at his loan club with his commitment and work ethic during this loan spell.
Trabzonspor president Ahmet Agaoglu has also recently stated they will keep Ekuban and the player himself has gone on record to say he’s happy in Trabzon.
The Leeds United owned player has scored 5 league goals this season and has become a key player in Unal Karaman’s team during the second half of the campaign.
