Needing some new midfielders in the summer, Leeds United decided to go out and spend some money on both Marc Roca and Tyler Adams.

The USA international arrived from RB Leipzig for a fee of around €17m and immediately made his way into Jesse Marsch’s side at Elland Road, featuring in 13 Premier League games to date.

He also made his way to Qatar with the United States national team, where he started and finished all of their four games.

His performances, both at Leipzig and Leeds, haven’t gone unnoticed by other teams, with Inter in Serie A keeping an eye on the 23-year-old.

This comes courtesy of Gazzetta dello Sport, who reveal 10 names on the club’s transfer shortlist, where the Leeds midfielder appears.

They explain the player ‘has been in Inter’s database for some time’, and Piero Ausilio travelling to Qatar to watch some World Cup games ‘has revived the Adams idea’.

However, his situation at Leeds, in that he is newly acquired, means his current market value ‘is increasing’ and that is a ‘disadvantage’ for the Italians.

That being said, ‘if by a chance a small opening were to appear’ for a deal to be struck between Inter and Leeds, this is something they ‘would be interested’ in.

We doubt that will come anytime soon, but you never know.
