Fanatik say another ‘Come to Besiktas madness’ has started again, this time with Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge and Leicester City’s Islam Slimani.
Besiktas fans have been posting ‘Come to Besiktas’ comments on both player’s Instagram pages, and they want to see one of the Premier League forwards joining Besiktas to replace Cenk Tosun.
Over 30K comments have been made, and the Besiktas fans are doing what they need for their club to land one of the players.
It’s been reported in the past week Slimnai and Sturridge are on Besiktas’ short list, as they look to replace Tosun, who signed for Everton on Friday.
It seems Leicester City’s Slimani is the likelier option because of his eligibility for the Champions League and his close friend Sofiane Feghouli is playing in Turkey.
The Algeria international is struggling to get games at Leicester City despite his impressive strike rate when he does play for the Foxes.
Sturridge is the striker Besiktas fans want to see most in their team, but Liverpool are perhaps unlikely to accept any loan offers for the 28 year old. Like Slimani, Sturridge isn’t getting games with his club, and may need to leave Liverpool in this window.
