Galatasaray have again been linked with Manchester City defender Elaquim Mangala following claims via Fanatik the Turkish giants are following the player’s situation closely. The 26-year-old is currently on loan at Valencia from the Premier League side.
Fanatik say they are looking to add at least two defenders to their squad in the next window, with Aurelien Chedjou, Hakan Balta and Koray Gunter are all set to leave the club this summer.
Mangala is a loan target for Galatasaray, and Fanatik report the Turkish club looking to use their close ties with Manchester City to get the deal done.
Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek said he’s ready to personally involve Mangala if the initial talks are positive.
Mangala joined Manchester City for €40million, but failed to convince Pep Guardiola he could be part of the Spaniard’s plans this season. The Frenchman has played 32 games for Valencia since his arrival last summer.
