Lazio have been holding ‘frantic contacts’ with the agent for forward Joaquin Correa as Everton and Leicester eye a move.
That’s according to Il Messaggero, who say the situation should become more transparent by the middle of this month.
They explain that Lazio’s summer transfer window has suddenly heated up, with the club working to bring players in for Maurizio Sarri.
The exit door is also firmly open, though, with Correa at the top of the list of players, after making it clear he would like to leave this summer.
He’s been heavily linked with a move to Everton, while Leicester have also been named as suitors over the last few weeks too.
Il Messaggero pick up on that and say the Italian side are in ‘frantic’ talks with his agent Alessandro Lucci about a possible move.
They say that Inter Milan, Everton and Leicester have also shown an interest while there are also clubs in Spain watching the situation.
Indeed, things are picking up quickly, and the situation should be more ‘transparent’ by the middle of August, with Lazio expecting to make at least €30m from a sale.
