Kyle Walker wants a minimum two-year deal from Fenerbahçe before he will consider joining them from Manchester City this summer.

That’s according to journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, who reports that the Turkish side are working to reach an understanding with the 35-year-old.

Walker is returning to Manchester City this summer from a mixed loan spell at AC Milan. They had been expected to make the move permanent but have decided against it, turning their focus to different targets instead.

That leaves Walker looking for a move elsewhere, with it now expected that his time at Manchester City has come to an end.

It seems Fenerbahçe are offering him a move to Turkey, but Sabuncuoğlu reports that Walker is demanding a two-year deal as a minimum before he will consider it. That means he is yet to reach an agreement with the Super Lig side.

Talks have now begun with the defender’s agent regarding the terms of the contract. It’s unclear if Fenerbahçe will give him the terms that he wants. If an agreement can be struck, though, Manchester City will allow him to leave.
