Leicester City’s Rachid Ghezzal returned to the King Power Stadium after finishing his loan spell at Fiorentina last season.

The 28-year-old has not been involved with the Foxes this term and is unlikely to continue with the English club in the ongoing campaign, if reports coming out of Turkey are to be believed.

‘Beşiktaş bring Rachid Ghezzal to Istanbul’, is the title of a report on Fanatik.

It’s claimed the Süper Lig side are ‘finishing’ another transfer as they are set to take the French-born Algeria international on a season-long loan deal.

The Black Eagles have already found an agreement with Brendan Rodgers’ side and they will add the former AS Monaco man to their squad once the transfer formalities are completed.

Ghezzal’s move to Beşiktaş is expected to go through on deadline day, if there are no last minute surprises and twists.

Earlier reports indicated the player wanted to leave the Premier League club on a permanent transfer and the winger’s agent even confirmed his client’s “intention” was to return to Fiorentina.

However, the deal didn’t go through because the two clubs couldn’t reach an agreement and Ghezzal will now join Beşiktaş on a loan deal.
