Milliyet’s Besiktas journalist Serdar Saridag claims the Istanbul club are in the ‘final stages’ to sign West Bromwich Albion’s Nacer Chadli on a loan deal.
Saridag reports Besiktas technical staff have been impressed with Chadli’s versatility and they are looking to use him in the wide attacking areas or as a No.10.
It’s been well documented in the Turkish press that Chadli is an option for the Turkish club and talks have been taking place in recent weeks.
Previously it’s been reported the Super Lig club’s manager Senol Gunes is behind the pursuit of the West Brom player and that the Belgian is also tempted by the move.
Chadli is unlikely to stay at West Brom after the club’s relegation last season and it now seems he will be leaving the Championship club before the deadline.
The Belgian international made 5 appearances for West Brom in the Premier League last season, he actually made more appearances at the World Cup, and is under contract with the Baggies until June 2020.
