Besiktas are ‘in the final stages’ of a deal to sign Manchester United youngster Amad Diallo on loan.
That’s according to Sabah, who say the Turkish side have received ‘a positive response’ to their initial loan offer.
They explain that after their bid for the player was accepted, they are now ‘at the negotiation table’ with the player.
Diallo is expected to be shipped out by Manchester United this summer, with the 20-year-old unlikely to be a part of Erik ten Hag’s plans this season.
He’s yet to establish himself at Old Trafford after a €21.3m move from Atalanta and spent the second half of last season on loan at Glasgow Rangers.
He needs regular game time to continue his development and Besiktas are seemingly ready to offer that.
Their loan offer has been given the go ahead by Manchester United, and the Turkish side are ‘working hard’ to convince the Ivory Coast international to make the move.
He has other suitors, although Sabah does not name them specifically, but it seems Besiktas are doing their utmost to convince him to spend this season on loan in Turkey.
