Aksam claim the Galatasaray board are fearful they won’t be able to keep Henry Onyekuru beyond this season.

The Nigerian international joined the Istanbul club on loan from Everton in the summer and he’s impressed the club’s manager Fatih Terim with his performances.

According to Aksam, Galatasaray believe Onyekuru will return to Everton next summer and the Premier League club will then offer him to clubs like Bayern Munich and PSG on a permanent transfer.

It’s reported Galatasaray will not be able to match Everton’s asking price, but they will still try to get the young attacker on a temporary basis again next season.

Onyekuru still has the issue of getting a work permit in England, a problem which has resulted in the Toffees sending him out on loan for the past two seasons. The Nigerian is still waiting to make his competitive debut for the Merseyside club.

The attacker has played 13 games for Galatasaray in this campaign, scoring score 4 goals for the Turkish champions.

What Aksam don’t say is that if Onyekuru continues his good form, Everton will surely do all they can to have him in their own squad, and fulfil the player’s dream of playing in the Premier League.

A work permit becomes easier to get the better Onyekuru becomes.
