Real Valladolid are considering a loan move for Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz, if his current move to Middlesbrough is cancelled early.
That’s according to AS, who say the Spanish side are eyeing up the forward as they look to fulfil their ‘great objective’ of improving their attacking performance with the addition of a forward.
The newspaper explains that the club’s sporting management are studying the options available to them this month and among them if Fulham’s Muniz.
He is currently on loan at Middlesbrough but has barely featured in the last few months, going from a starter to 36 minutes of action in the last two months.
That could lead to an early termination of his deal and if that were to happen, then Valladolid are ready to make a move for the Fulham man.
They would also seek a loan deal, although there is a possibility he could be one of several forward signings before the end of the window.
Although Muniz has so far failed to establish himself in Europe, he is still well thought of at Fulham and elsewhere after his performances at Flamengo.
A move to Valladolid will require the end of his current loan at Middlesbrough, though, which is yet to be decided.
